'Where's the new nurse, Jessica, living?' Andrew asked, then cursed himself as he caught Sarah's gleeful expression.

'I really don't know,' she told him, without bothering to hide her delight at his confused state. 'Perhaps in a cabin at the caravan park until she finds somewhere permanent. Helen would know, or you could ask Jessica herself.'

'Yes, well...' He couldn't put his reluctance into words.

'Don't tell me you've forgotten how to flirt,' Sarah said with a teasing smile.

'I don't want to flirt with her,' he protested, horrified by the interpretation Sarah had put on his interest. 'Although I could very well be in love,' he added ruefully.
