Original compositions of music for woodwinds, and arrangements of the music of J.S. Bach, Debussy, Grieg, Schubert, and an anonymous composer found in a book of guitar music. Sally Garden is an original woodwind arrangement of a song with lyrics by W.B. Yeats and music by Herbert Hughes. Many require a flute, an oboe, a clarinet, and a bassoon. A few require a second clarinet and or a second bassoon. Some arrangements also have a violin and cello. There are also 3 flute duets and a cello-flute duet. The earlier two volumes are in use in a music school in Austria because these compositions are suitable for children to play.
