Gavin lives in South Wales with his wife, his young son and their cat, George.

He spends his days working as a school liaison officer with the police and won the Greenhouse Funny Prize in 2013 with his debut book, Murray the Horse.

Chris Jevons loved drawing from an early age, inspired by Saturday morning cartoons and Disney animated features. After studying art, design and animation at university, Chris worked as graphic designer and a 2D animator before pursuing a career in children’s publishing. Chris illustrates picture books and fiction for a variety of publishers and lives and works in Harrogate.
