Dan Abnett

Dan Abnett has written over fifty novels, including Anarch, the latest instalment in the acclaimed Gaunt’s Ghosts series. He has also written the Ravenor and Eisenhorn books, the most recent of which is The Magos.

For the Horus Heresy, he is the author of Horus Rising, Legion, The Unremembered Empire, Know No Fear and Prospero Burns, the last two of which were both New York Times bestsellers.

He also script ed Macragge’s Honour, the first Horus Heresy graphic novel, as well as numerous audio dramas and short stories set in the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer universes. He lives and works in Maidstone, Kent.

Guy Haley

Guy Haley is the author of the Horus Heresy novels Titandeath, Wolfsbane and Pharos, the Primarchs novels Konrad Curze: The Night Haunter, Corax: Lord of Shadows, Perturabo: The Hammer of Olympia, and the Warhammer 40,000 novels Dark Imperium, Dark Imperium: Plague War, The Devastation of Baal, Dante, Baneblade, Shadowsword, Valedor and Death of Integrity.

He has also written Throneworld and The Beheading for The Beast Arises series. His enthusiasm for all things greenskin has also led him to pen the eponymous Warhammer novel Skarsnik, as well as the End Times novel The Rise of the Horned Rat. He has also written stories set in the Age of Sigmar, included in War Storm, Ghal Maraz and Call of Archaon. He lives in Yorkshire with his wife and son.

Chris Wraight

Chris Wraight is the author of the Horus Heresy novels Scars and The Path of Heaven, the Primarchs novels Leman Russ: The Great Wolf and Jaghatai Khan: Warhawk of Chogoris, the novellas Brotherhood of the Storm and Wolf King, and the audio drama The Sigillite.

For Warhammer 40,000 he has written The Lords of Silence, Vaults of Terra: The Carrion Throne, Vaults of Terra: The Hollow Mountain, Watchers of the Throne: The Emperor's Legion, the Space Wolves novels Blood of Asaheim and Stormcaller, and many more.

Additionally, he has many Warhammer novels to his name, including the Warhammer Chronicles novel Master of Dragons, which forms part of the War of Vengeance series. Chris lives and works in Bradford-on-Avon, in south-west England.

Rachel Harrison

Rachel Harrison is the author of the Warhammer 40,000 novel Honourbound, and the short stories Execution and A Company of Shadows, featuring the character Commissar Severina Raine. She has also written the short story Dirty Dealings for Necromunda, as well as a number of other Warhammer 40,000 short stories including The Third War and Dishonoured.

Mike Brooks

Mike Brooks is a speculative fiction author who lives in Nottingham, UK.

His work for Black Library includes the Warhammer 40,000 novel Rites of Passage, the Necromunda novella Wanted: Dead, and the short stories ‘The Path Unclear’, ‘A Common Ground’ and ‘Choke Point’. When not writing, he works for a homelessness charity, plays guitar and sings in a punk band, and DJs wherever anyone will tolerate him.

Danie Ware

Danie Ware is the author of the novellas The Bloodied Rose, Wreck and Ruin and the short story 'Mercy', all featuring the Sisters of Battle. She lives in Carshalton, south London, with her son and two cats and has long-held interests in role-playing, re-enactment, vinyl art toys and personal fitness.

Steve Parker

Steve Parker is an author, editor and consultant specialising in illustrated information books on the natural world.

Steve is a Senior Scientific Fellow of the Zoological Society of London and has worked on the staff of London's Natural History Museum.

He is based in Suffolk, UK, and has written over 250 books, including dinosaur titles such Extreme Dinosaurs.

Peter McLean

Peter McLean was born near London and grew up in the Norwich alternative scene, alternating dingy nightclubs with studying martial arts and practical magic before settling to a career in corporate IT. His first novels, the Burned Man series, are noir urban fantasy.

Josh Reynolds

Josh Reynolds is the author of the Horus Heresy Primarchs novel Fulgrim: The Palatine Phoenix, and two audio dramas featuring the Blackshields: The False War and The Red Fief. His Warhammer 40,000 work includes Lukas the Trickster and the Fabius Bile novels Primogenitor and Clonelord.

He has written many stories set in the Age of Sigmar, including the novels Shadespire: The Mirrored City, Soul Wars, Eight Lamentations: Spear of Shadows, the Hallowed Knights novels Plague Garden and Black Pyramid, and Nagash: The Undying King. His tales of the Warhammer old world include The Return of Nagash and The Lord of the End Times, and two Gotrek & Felix novels. He lives and works in Sheffield.

Phil Kelly

Phil Kelly is the author of the Space Marine Battles novel Blades of Damocles and the Warhammer 40,000 novellas Farsight and Blood Oath, as well as the Warhammer titles Sigmar's Blood and Dreadfleet.

He has also written a number of short stories.

He works as a background writer for Games Workshop, crafting the worlds of Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000. He lives in Nottingham.

Thomas Parrott

THOMAS PARROTT grew up reading science fiction and fantasy. This was compounded by the discovery of video games and tabletop roleplaying, leading to a life of dealing with the mundane while dreaming of dragons.

He has written Isha’s Lament, The Test of Faith, and Loyal to the End, all for the Warhammer 40,000 setting, as well as short fiction for Arkham Horror and KeyForge anthologies.

Robert Rath

Robert Rath is a freelance writer from Honolulu who is currently based in Hong Kong. He is the author of the Warhammer 40,000 novels The Infinite and the Divine and Assassinorum: Kingmaker, and the Warhammer Crime novella Bleedout.

His short stories include ‘War in the Museum’, ‘Glory Flight’, and the Assassinorum tales ‘Divine Sanction’, ‘Live Wire’ and ‘Iron Sight’.

Marc Collins

Marc Collins is a speculative fiction author living and working in Glasgow, Scotland. He is the writer of the Warhammer Crime novel Grim Repast, as well as the short story ‘Cold Cases’, which featured in the anthology No Good Men.

For Warhammer 40,000 he has written a number of short stories, including ‘Duty Unto Death’, ‘The Crueltymaker’s Kingdom’ and ‘The Death of the Prophet’. When not dreaming of the far future he works in Pathology with the NHS.
