"Plays of the Mind" is a collection of four short stories that focus on fantasy, adventure, family, making tough decisions, success, and overcoming loss.

The first story, "Kept Promises" is about a woman, Mrs. Williams and her husband as they endure the fallout of a crime that was committed against their family.

"The Hunter's True Mission" is a story about family and the danger they face in a fantastical war. The main character, Adicus, uses magic to fight against a swarm of monsters as he makes his way back to his wife and two children.

"The Scared Adventurer" is set in a fantasy town during medieval times and our main character, Gabe, who is frightened by nearly everything. Under threat of being banished from the guild he must prove that he is capable of fulfilling quests and being an asset to the guild.

The last story, "Farewell", focuses on Jerry and his mom, Hilary. After the loss of a family member they return to a place that had always been a special one, to reminisce and say their final goodbyes.
