I took the liberty of simplifying something very difficult for you. That's what I do.

This book is full of lifetime-gathering information, but it's definitely not for everyone. Depending on where you are in your journey, I won't intentionally try to intimidate you. My goal is to make you smile or even motivate you—unless, of course, you're looking for a different experience, something other than information on how to get better at working out.

The path to success is not for the faint-hearted but for those willing to endure, learn, and grow. While it is true that people have various goals when they go to the gym, it would be an oversimplification to categorize all gym-goers into only three types based solely on their goals. It's important to note that individuals may have multiple goals, and their motivations can change over time.

Strength Builders: These individuals focus on increasing their strength and building muscle mass. They typically engage in weightlifting exercises, resistance training, and high-intensity workouts. Their primary goal is to improve their physical strength, gain muscle definition, and enhance overall body composition.

Shedding excess body fat: This category comprises individuals primarily interested in excess body fat and losing weight. They often engage in cardiovascular exercises such as running, cycling or using elliptical machines. Additionally, they may incorporate high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and circuit training to maximize calorie burn and boost metabolism.

Fitness Enthusiasts: This group includes individuals who prioritize overall fitness, aiming for a well-rounded approach. They typically participate in a combination of strength training and cardiovascular exercises to improve cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and overall fitness levels. Their goal is to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle, rather than focusing on specific outcomes like strength or weight loss alone.

It's also worth noting that there are individuals who visit the gym for purposes other than these primary fitness goals, such as stress relief, social interaction or sport-specific training.

Where else would you start if not at the basics? The window is closing. From the moment you start reading these words, you have less than 48 hours to begin working out and implementing the newfound knowledge.
