James Asmus is an award-winning writer originally from Cleveland, OH. He has written comics, theater, TV, animation, and more. His comic book work includes Gambit, Thief of Thieves, Kong of Skull Island, Evolution, The End Times of Bram & Ben, and Quantum & Woody-which earned him five Harvey Award nominations, including Best Writer. He currently lives in Portland, OR with his wife and two awesome kids.

Karla Pacheco

Karla Pacheco is a former radio dj, comedy/video game writer, and the author of the extremely-NOT-for-children children’s book “Inspector Pancakes Helps the President of France (Solve the White Orchid Murders).”

She’s written comics for Marvel (Punisher, Fantastic Four 2099, Gwenpool), Oni (Rick & Morty), and Dynamite (Bettie Page), and is currently writing Marvel’s best-selling Spider-Woman series with artist Pere Perez. Karla lives on a boat named “The Slippery Pig” in the Pacific Northwest with her dog, Edison, and once won the Exxon Valdez from the movie “Waterworld” by fighting in the Thunderdome. Yes, really.

Ryan Ferrier

Ryan Ferrier is a Canadian comic book writer and letterer. He is the writer of Kennel Block Blues, Curb Stomp and Sons of Anarchy (BOOM! Studios); Hot Damn and the acclaimed D4VE and D4VE 2 (IDW & Monkeybrain); and The Brothers James, Tiger Lawyer, and Ultranova for ReadChallenger Comics (readchallenger.com), a self-publishing comic collective he runs with Brian Level. Recently, he's written comics for Marvel's Secret Wars- Battleworld (with Logan Faerber), Bravest Warriors- Tales of the Holo-John (with Jorge Corona), and Monstrosity II (with J. Bone), and has been published in Heavy Metal Magazine (with artist Hugo Petrus).

Andrew MacLean

American comic book creator, Andrew MacLean, is the creator, artist, and writer of Head Lopper, the Diamond Gem Award-winning Image Comics series. ApocalyptiGirl: An Aria for the End Times (2015), his post-apocalpyptic sci-fi graphic novel, was published by Dark Horse Comics and was nominated for a YALSA award. Published in more than 7 different languages, Andrew has also worked for Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Warner Bros, Hasbro, etc. on a variety of projects in both comics and animation.
