Elon Musk

“The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come.”

Bill Gates

“I have met five British Prime Ministers, two American Presidents, Nelson Mandela, Michael Jackson and the Queen. My hour with Steve Jobs certainly made me more nervous than any of those encounters. I know what you are thinking, but it's the truth. I do believe Jobs to be a truly great figure, one of the small group of innovators who have changed the world. He exists somewhere between showman, perfectionist overseer, visionary, enthusiast and opportunist, and his insistence upon design, detail, finish, quality, ease of use and reliability are a huge part of Apple's success.”

Stephen Fry

I"ve read a whole bunch of books on Apple and Steve Jobs and I dare to say that this book is on top of the list by a mile.
You get a clear picture of the man's insane focus and drive.
Basically Steve just takes you by the hand and pulls you trough his life stopping at each station with a thorough explaination of his reasoning and on to the next.
That said, I must say it could use a bit more editing but nothing compared to the many plus points.. so all is forgiven.I found the last chapters in perticulair very moving.
Anyway... Definitely a must read for anyone interested in the history of our present "digital world".

“your time is limited, so dont waste it living someone else's life. Dont be trapped by dogma - which is living with results of others; opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary”
