Martin Edwards was born in Knutsford, Cheshire. He read law at Balliol College, Oxford and trained as a solicitor. He is the author of the legal mysteries featuring Harry Devlin adnd writes the popular crime series set in the Lake District. He is also a critic and has edited various short story collections and writes The Martin Edward's Column on BookNoir.

Amy Myers, MD, is a specialist in autoimmune diseases whose career was set in motion by her own experience dealing with autoimmune issues. After completing her residency in emergency medicine at the University of Maryland, Dr. Myers founded the nationally renowned functional medicine center Austin UltraHealth, where she currently serves as medical director. She is the author of the New York Times bestsellers The Thyroid Connection and The Autoimmune Solution.

Keith Brooke is the Philip K. Dick award shortlisted author of more than a dozen novels for adults and teenagers. He was the editor for Infinity Plus magazine and has written non-fiction on the SFgenre for Palgrave Macmillan.

Ashley Lister is the author of more than fifty full-length titles and countless short stories. His work has been published in a variety of national magazines, celebrated anthologies and academic journals.

Ashley has lectured in Creative Writing for more than a decade, writing and running a broad range of courses. He recently completed his PhD in Creative Writing where his thesis considers the relationship between plot and genre in short fiction.

Paul Charles was born and raised in Magherafelt in the North of Ireland.

Eric Brown

Eric Brown is the BSFA award-winning author of more than 20 novels and as many novellas. Hehas had many short stories published in Interzone magazine and was, for many years, the SF and Fantasy reviewer for The Guardian

John Grant

John Grant is author of about seventy books, including the highly successful Discarded Science, Corrupted Science, and Denying Science.

For a number of years he ran the world-famous fantasy artbook publisher Paper Tiger. He has won the Hugo Award (twice), the World Fantasy Award, and various other international literary awards.

David Quantick

David Quantick is an Emmy-winng television writer for such shows as Veep, The Thick of It and The Day Today.

He is the author of Sparks, The Mule, two writing manuals, How To Write Everything and How To Be A Writer.

Lavie Tidhar

Lavie Tidhar (The Bookman; A Man Lies Dreaming; The Violent Century) is the author of the breakout Campbell and Neukom award-winning novel Central Station, which has been translated into ten languages.

He has also received the British Science Fiction, Neukom Literary, and World Fantasy awards. Tidhar was born in Israel, grew up on a kibbutz, has lived in south Africa, Laos, and Vanuatu, and currently resides in London.
