I'm telling this story so everyone knows that the rainbow is a death omen. When those shimmering vibrant colors appear over the sea, everyone around should head to shore. My first deathly encounter was when I took my raft on her maiden voyage. I called her The Rainbow's End because at the end of every rainbow is a valuable treasure. There can be no greater treasure than catching fish, and that is what I was determined to do. Little did I know, I would lose more than a big fish on the trip.
