The Seychelles, which are beautiful and pristine, are the stuff of numerous tropical island fantasies and are at the top of many people's bucket lists. The 115 coral and granite islands that make up the archipelago, which is the apex of a massive undersea plateau, are home to various attractions, including stunning beaches with boulders littering them, unspoiled rainforests, healthy coral reefs, and UNESCO-listed nature reserves.
One of the smallest nations in the world, Seychelles, is made up of two main island groups: the Mahé group, which includes more than 40 inner, mountainous granitic islands, and a second group, which includes more than 70 outer, flat, coralline islands. The Mahé group of islands are rocky, normally have a short shoreline strip, and feature a center range of hills. With their thick tropical flora, those islands have a general appearance like tall hanging gardens with views of silver-white beaches and crystal-clear lagoons.
