Hera heard whispers at the entrance of his house. He became frightened and rushed inside, closing all the windows and switching off the lights. His two sons were fast asleep and the elder of the two was snoring. He had been separated from his wife for quite a long time. While his wife was with him, he would yell at her in the presence of the children and throw things at the wall in frustration. He has since not been himself since he sent her packing. He would stay out long at night and get drunk, leaving the children at home. On this night, he wasn’t drunk. As he was walking home, he saw shadows on the wall which were not his.
