Bernard has found out that his wife is cheating on him with another man, which would be shocking enough. But after hiring a private investigator and seeing pictures of her with the other man, he's thrown into a delirium of cuckold daydreams and nightmares. Under the presumption of needing more evidence for their future divorce trials, he attempts to tail her in hopes of watching her with her new lover.
