A detailed look at Victorian Gingerbread Fretwork. I had my first industrial fretsaw near 25 years ago and took an instant liking to the Victorian patterns and designs. I've done a variety of woodworking including polishing, restoring and timber cutting. I make all sorts of things in wood, I'd call it art woodwork. Part of my interest is how can people, if they want to, elevate their woodwork to a level that one would call art. Maybe it's aresponse or a reaction to some exrtent because I don't like the term "hobby". I'm sure many prefer their woodwork to their job and they are often very precise carpenters. There are lots of patterns in here that I've made and sold over the years. Some of the most fun I have is when an artist wants me to make their designs for them. These joint ventures tend to produce the best artwork and there's several examples of this in the book.
