Guru Gobind Singh Ji was a multifaceted personality and a great poet, warrior, philosopher, and spiritual leader. He was known for his bravery and valor, and his leadership during times of crisis and conflict.

In addition to the creation of the Khalsa, Guru Gobind Singh Ji is also known for his efforts to promote gender equality and empower women. He established the institution of the Singh Sabha, which was a group of women who were trained in martial arts and given equal rights and status within the Khalsa.

Guru Gobind Singh Ji was also a prolific writer and poet. He wrote numerous hymns and religious texts, including the Jaap Sahib, the Chaupai Sahib, and the Zafarnama, which are still recited by Sikhs today.

Another significant contribution of Guru Gobind Singh Ji was the compilation of the Sikh holy scripture, the Guru Granth Sahib. He added the hymns of his father, Guru Tegh Bahadur, and several other Sikh Gurus to the scripture, elevating it to the status of the eternal and final Guru of the Sikh religion.
