Jane Yolen is the author of more than 300 books, including children's classics such as Owl Moon and The Devi's Arithmetic, and adult novels such as Sister Light, Sister Dark. Her books and stories have won the Nebula Award, the Caldecott Medal, the National Jewish Book Award, and many other awards and accolades. She divides her time between Massachusetts and St. Andrews, Scotland.

Maddison Stemple-Piatt is Janes first grandchild. Following in her Nanas footsteps, she trained in ballet from a young age. She has earned her bachelors in Psychology with minors in Spanish and Dance, her masters in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and is currently a Juris Doctor candidate. She lives in St. Petersburg, FL.

Priscilla Burris has illustrated numerous books for children, parents, and teachers. She enjoys cake painting and creating art for products that include murals, greeting cards, and rubber stamps. Priscilla lives with her family in Southern California.
