If everyone can be equal and free, then so can the Jews. In Marx's Utopia, there would no longer be a "'Jewish problem." Napoleon set much of Europe on fire., but he liberated the Jews from their Italian, French, and German ghettoes and gave them equal rights. Spinoza had much lo say about the Jews, not all of it friendly, but his ideal to diminish human strife by offering a universal path to God, truth, and self-knowledge would also set the Jews free. In that sense, if in no other, his was a great Jewish life.
