Recent discoveries in Thailand and Laos have revealed a succession of fossil floras and faunas that illustrate the evolution of continental ecosystems in SE Asia during the Late Palaeozoic and Mesozoic. In this volume, various groups of non-marine organisms are studied, including fishes, turtles, crocodilians, dinosaurs and mammal-like reptiles. Their geological background is discussed, as well as the palaeobiogeography and ancient environments of that part of Asia.
