Mary de Saulles worked in London County Council's Architect's Department, and then as Industrial Designer to British European Airways before becoming an architectiural consultant. In the 1960s she and her family moved to Shropshire where she established a small architectural practice that has received Civic Society awards and an RIBA Commendation. Mary has been involved in many aspects of Shrewsbury in the last 30 years, including as Chairman of the RIBA's Festival of Architecture, of The Business Club, and of The Shropshire Building Preservation Trust.
