My son was going through a hard time at kindy and we had to move him out. This book helped him identify his feelings about the situation and through his transition into his new kindy. Josh explains emotions in simple words with quirky uncomplicated illustrations making it easy for even the littlest people to understand that our feelings make up who we are but not to let them dominate us.
It has become our go to book when feelings are confusing. I completely agree with it receiving the ABIA book of the year.
