Margaret Wild

Margaret Wild has written more than seventy books and has been published around the world.

Her numerous awards and distinctions include the Children's Book Council of Australia Picture Book of the Year Award for Jenny Angel, illustrated by Anne Spudvilas, The Very Best of Friends, illustrated by Julie Vivas, and Fox, illustrated by Ron Brooks.

In 2008 she received the Nan Chauncy Award for an outstanding contribution to children's literature in Australia. Her book Vampyre, illustrated by Andrew Yeo, was short-listed at the 2011 Aurealis Awards.

Margaret has three titles in the Walker Classics series: Going Home and A Bit of Company, both illustrated by Wayne Harris, and Let the Celebrations Begin!, illustrated by Julie Vivas

Libby Hathorn

Libby Hathorn is an award-winning author and poet of more than fifty books for children, young adults, and adult readers.

Translated into several languages and adapted for both stage and screen, her work has won honours in Australia, the United States, Great Britain and Holland.

In 2014 she won The Alice Award, a national award given to 'a woman who has made a distinguished and long term contribution to Australian literature.'

Ruthie May

Ruthie May was born in Perth, Western Australia. She is the published author of Count My Kisses, Little One and Stew a Cockatoo: My Aussie Cookbook illustrated by Leigh Hobbs.

Ruthie immerses herself in stories for both children and grown-ups, but prefers stories where age doesn't matter. She now lives in Sydney's inner west.

Jane Godwin

Jane Godwin is the author of many award-winning stories for young people, including her bestselling picture books with Anna Walker, What Do You Wish For?, Starting School, Today We Have No Plans, All Through the Year and Little Cat and the Big Red Bus.

Jane has also collaborated with Andrew Joyner on the delightful picture books How Big Is Too Small? and Bear Make Den, with Freya Blackwood on Hattie Helps Out, and with Freya and Davina Bell on Birthday Baby.

Tamsin Ainslie

Tamsin Ainslie has illustrated children's books, book covers, stationery, greeting cards, children's games and toys.

She has worked on over 45 popular and award-winning books. She is also a fine artist and ceramicist.

Jane Massey

Jane Massey is a children's book illustrator who lives and works in Hove on the South Coast of England. She studied graphic design at Kingston University and worked for several design agencies in London and Hong Kong in addition to illustrating children's books.
