I only bought this product because I have an old account with Angus and Robertson and JB Hi-Fi, where I bought my original Kobo which had stopped working, said they weren't stocking them anymore. Imagine my surprise when I went instore and discovered three different models on display - I could have saved myself the long wait.
Like the other two reviewers, i found it took a very long time for the product to come and the packaging was ridiculously large. In fact the cover came a full two weeks before the reader.
The product itself is great. Setting it up was easy. Although I had to download all my books again, I found that the reader settings and author collections were as I had set them up on my previous Kobo.

Waste of time ordering with Angus and Robertson. They took over a month to deliver the order which was not processed for delivery until after I requested a refund. It’s worth spending extra for a more reliable retailer who will actually deliver products within promised timelines.

I ordered this reader in mid-November. Initially, I was informed that it would be despatched by the end of November. Come mid-December, no reader. My attempts to contact A&R were fruitless. Multiple emails were sent and disappeared into the aether. Calling the "customer service number" resulted in my call being placed in a cue, then told after 30 minutes that there was an issue and I was cut off. This occurred about three times. Finally, in exasperation, I was forced to post a negative review online and was contacted within ten minutes. This finally started the ball rolling and the reader appeared at the end of the week. To be fair, the customer service people I eventually spoke with were great and very helpful. Sadly, the process of customer service is pathetic as a whole. Perhaps someone in their corporate realm should have a look at this farce.
