Abstract

The study examined A History of Qua Iboe Church in Etinan Local Government Area. Qua Iboe Church is mainly understood from the angle of spiritual formation of individual human beings. The Qua Iboe missionaries came along, not only with the Good news, but with Western education and healthcare services. The objectives of this study were to trace the advent of Qua Iboe Church in Etinan Local Government Area and also access the socio-political setting in Etinan before the Qua Iboe Church mission. The research method adopted for the research work was oral interviews, descriptive and analytical methods. The study identified the contributions of Qua Iboe church to Etinan people which included health care services, education, establishment of churches and empowerment.
