Nadine Shah is a singer-songwriter from South Shields, born to a British mother of Norwegian ancestry and a Pakistani father. She is one of the most vital and exciting musical voices to emerge in the twenty-first century.

A Radio 6 stalwart, she was nominated for the Mercury Prize in 2018 for her fourth album, Holiday Destination, and released her fifth album, Kitchen Sink, in 2020 to wide critical acclaim and commercial success.
