A chapter book about bullying and standing up for youself!

Life can be complicated when you're an 8-year-old boy who has had to move and change schools in the middle of the school year. Makhan is worried about making friends at his new school, and it gets even worse than he imagined on his first day of school.

He opens up his lunch box only to discover that the kids at his new school think his lunch is stinky. Makhan is so confused because his homemade curries smell perfectly normal to him. When they start calling him 'smelly', Makhan starts to think they're right and feels embarrassed about himself.

Kids should never feel embarrassed about themselves and the things that they like and the things that make them unique.That's what Makhan discovers too and in that process he learns to stand up for himself and for others too.
